Perfect view of Lookout Mountain

Another first this year staying at Sunshine Village Hotel on hill accomadation. The trip was organised by Donna & Marshall and what a great job they did. We had six rooms booked and got a great rate with a voucher for breakfast. You certainly feal special from the moment you arrive at the Gondola Station and book in. Your suit case is delivered to you room and then you get a voucher for the VIP parking. We could check in by 2:00 pm and check out at 2:00 pm. The staff are very friendly and helpfull.Great job Sunshine Village.

This is the basic room with windows looking out onto the Waterfall Run.The room was very quiet and comfortable.

We skied on Wednesday underclear blue skies but very hard pack conditions. In the evening we all congregated in the Nickals suite for a sing song to the accompaniment of Ukeles.This was followed by a dip in the big out door hot tub followed a meal in the Chimney Lounge .

Thursday brought us a nice 7cm snowfall. As soon as the lifts were running so were we and got in some first tracks .The weather was cold but the skies cleared and it was a wonderfull day.At 10:00 am we all met for breakfast in the Chimney Lounge.

Then it was back out on the slopes until Lunch in The Mad Trapper Saloon.

After lunch we headed down to Goats Eye Mountain for a few more runs before heading back to Canmore. I would recommend a stay at Sunshine Village Hotel whether you are a local or a visitor
