The hike up the Three Sisters Pass is a nice local hike from Canmore. The trail head is on the Smith Dorrien Hwy 742. Go 6.5 km approx. from the Goat Creek Parking to a small loop turnout on the right hand side of the road. The trail head at the Creek is a 100 m up the road ( photo from the creek ). Take the left side and try to find a trail in the trees, some flagging. The old trail is mostly washed away. The creek narrows and a bit of scrambling is need through the rocks. I believe if the creek is running a bypass route is on the right. Most hikers are happy to get to the Col and wander to the knoll but we wanted to go up to the Ehagay Nakoda Ridge. The weather was a bit iffy so we did not get all the way to the end before dark clouds sent us back. The end is a technical down climb to the Lawrence Grassi section. My GPS was not on for this trip so the route shown is computer manufactured and not accurate.
