Hiking up the Creek

Piggy Col, Plus the view-point is accessed from the Burstall Pass Trail which is a 3.2 km hike in from the parking lot at Burstall (opposite Mt Chester parking) on the Spray Lakes road. The trail starts up an old road that is mostly overgrown. I hiked up this trail in October 2013 and due to snow only went to the View Point.https://willski.ca/piggy-plus-col/ The trail ends when you reach the creek that you have to cross. Then it is a matter of following the creek until it narrows take the small green hill on your right. Climb up and make your way around to your right to reach the view point.
The Piggy Plus View point
This is the view of the top of the view-point. The view of the Col is now laid down in front of you. This vantage point also gives great views of Burstall Pass and Snow, Birdwood & Commonwealth Mountains.

It is just a matter of making your way up, no trail but it is not needed.

At the Col the view of the glaciers are incredible. The return can be made down the creek.
