Gondola upper station
November 8th 2019
Sunshine Village opened for the season with just the Strawberry Chair. An indication of the low snow base so far this year. In past years we have seen Wolverine, Jack Rabbit and Wawa open with Strawberry. Snow was of good soft quality and we managed to find lots of untracked powder to the left of the lift as you discharge. Later in the day we got a steady rainfall that turned the snow into spring like conditions. Since then a good dump of snow had fallen and today Monday Remembrance day they have opened up Jack Rabbit and Wolverine. Hope to check out conditions tomorrow. Crowds were good at 9 am but got busy by 10 am as expected. It did move along at a steady pace.
