Summer Skiing Recap at Sunshine Village, Banff — June 22

Sunshine Village Banff extended summer skiing from June 20 through July 5, benefiting from a record snow pack. On Monday, June 22, we took advantage of the window for one final spring-like outing before the hiking season.

The sky remained overcast, but the day offered solid spring conditions and reliable piste quality. Our objective was to sample the runs twice to maximize the experience before the season transition.

We completed a total of twelve runs: six on Standish and six on Strawberry. The runs were relatively short, yet each provided enjoyable laps and dependable snow through the day.
