Although the Little Sister is a technical climb it is a great ridge walk to the front face. The route up starts at the High Line Trail at the east end. Park at the Three Sisters on Hubmans Landing. Following the High Line Trail up through the woods and past the old water piping. Look out for a small path on your left. It gets a bit messy at this point. We found an old logging road and walked along for a while then decided we had better head up into the trees. We may have been better to walk further toward the drainage creek before heading up. I will explore this section again. The main objective is to stay as close as possible to the creek gully on your right. There are lots of animal tracks to follow but try to find a trail of blue flags. These will take you up most of the way until the tape ran out. We followed the tape down but eventually lost the trail near the bottom end. Anyway the blue tape will bring you out to the open area that can be seen from the highway. From their follow through the trees to a cliff band on the right. Continue up through trees until the first peak and follow the ridge . The third peak I went to the right and tried to scramble up a rock gully but not knowing where I would come out on I turned back. Having dropped my pole I then worked my way around and came back out on the ridge. Lee went to the left and came out at the top of the third peak which was the best option and became our return route. From the third peak it was straight forward route to the wall.
