At the base of Lake Louise

First visit to Lake Louise this season. All though I was not expecting much I was still disappointed. The snow coverage was good on the backside slopes but the snow was very chopped up and hard to enjoy. I felt I was struggling to find a rhythm all day. The front side was it’s usual icy self. The trails of Saddleback and Pika that run in the valley down to the Paradise Chair are icy and bumpy. Paradise Bowl was well covered but suffered from the same snow conditions. A good dump of fresh snow and all will be good. Also a nice sunny day would help.
On the Gondola not much snow except for the man made.

Ladies Downhill run uck. This is not the run they use. The ladies use a shortened Mens Downhill.
