Lake Louise Downhill Skiing. After the snow of the past week 57 cm, and all the warm weather how is Lake Louise Ski Resort? Well, very well thank you. Larch Poma has very big moguls but the snow is soft and easy to turn on. First visit to the Rock Gardens. No rocks on the approach track so that was a bonus. The drop into the Rock Garden is in good condition .The large rocks have big pillars of untouched snow and powder turns through most of  the area. It was so nice we went back for more fun later in the day. Another first ever for me. This was a run off the Paradise Chair to the East Bowl. A small walk or push is required to get up onto the ridge to the left as you get off the chair. This track is called the Corridor and would run all the way down to the Ptarmigan Chair. When you can see the chair turn left and drop into some nice soft turns in East Bowl. If you keep right you come out through East Bowl Trees onto Pika Road. The green run to Larch. Then catch Raven down to Temple Lodge. Also went into Paradise Cornice Bowl nice turns in the morning. Later in the afternoon took a run off the Express 6-Pack Chair, Top of the World on the front side. Steep & Flat area was the best this season but could not try any other runs as are legs went to rubber.
