Cold temperatures and snow making in full swing on Ptarmigan run

Dec 17th Thursday 2015

The temperatures are more like winter at -16C. Snow pack is firming up and as usual it is time for some more snow. Since my last visit the front side is now much improved and we did a couple of runs from the platter. On the front side Outer limits and Headwall were ok. On the backside Upper Boomerang through to Brown Shirt and Shoulder roll were in good shape. Ptarmigan was closed for snow making see the pics. I guess they will smooth out all the moguls into a groomed sheet of ice!!
