A group of seven Meanderthall skiers left Canmore at 9:00 and pulled into Bolton Creek Parking just after 10:00. Parking lot was empty. The temperature was -18C. The route for the day set by leader Helen was to go up Whiskey Jack along Tyrwhitt down Hydroline. Left at Patterson to Elk Pass. Right onto Fox Creek. Right onto Moraine and plunge down the start of Whiskey Jack back to the cars. Conditions were perfect I had good grip on a thick layer of green wax to go up Whiskey Jack. It was fitting to see Skier Bob in the parking lot heading out at 2:00 pm. as we had just finished what he calls the Skier Bob Special. I am sure he would have zipped around after eating one of Bills home made Butter Tarts. A great day out and in what is now considered warm weather.
Mountain range in your photo across the Tyrwhitt meadow is called the Elk Range.
Thanks it is never worth a guess
