Sunshine Village. View from Bye Bye Bowl

January 17th Friday

Conditions at Sunshine Village Banff are getting better but the huge 90cm of snow the past week is now somewhere in Saskatchewan. The conditions on Bye Bye Bowl are good on the South Divide side but head further to the boundry to exit by the cat track and it is snow blow and hard.

Nice skiing on the groomed areas. Snow is nice and soft and easy to edge.

Sunshine Village. Wind Swept Bye Bye Bowl

Watch out for the rocks they are still not all buried. Very crusty wind blown snow that is hard to ski on. Did not get over to any other lifts but heard Goats Eye is still in poor condition for this time of year. More snow no wind please.
