Boom Lake in Winter

Set out to snowshoe to Boom Lake but the trail was so hard packed that we hiked up. It would have been possible to cross country ski as there was a nice light covering of fresh snow. We followed some back country ski tracks. The distance to the lake is about 6Km one way. The sun was shining at the trail head but as we gained we were into the cloud, so not good for pictures at the lake.
