Pasque Ridge and Peak. Another great ridge walk.

On the summit looking back. Middle right treeless area is the route up.

To get to Pasque Ridge turn off Hwy 40 at the junction of Hwy 541 to Longview. Turn south down the Forestry Trunk Rd Hwy 940. It is about 22 km to the trail head. A small old logging road is the trail head. Pass Cataract Creek Camp ground. Head off down the logging road and cross a creek. Shortly a right turn over a wooden bridge. Look at the photos below with descriptions .The route at times is not obvious even though a lot of the walking is on old logging roads.. When we returned back down the ridge we completed the ridge by going to the north summit. Not really worth it but felt it had to be done. Then came down the old road. A good ridge walk with a haze of smoke spoiling magnificent views. A loop can be made of this hike with a second car available. See map.

First right turn over this bridge
Don’t go up this road after the bridge. Turn left before the rise marked with shooting skeet and tape
After following a feint path through wood and willow bush come out at this marker. Turn left over small creek up hill to next shot
The road comes out here head up ridge
Looking back . But at this area go down looking for a trail into woods
Through these trees and down looking for trail. That then comes out on a logging road all the way to the Ridge
Looking back at the ridge and lower left where the cairn and small creek are
Once through the trees looking for the trail you are again on a road that comes out at Pasque Ridge

We joined the ridge at this gap. You could just walk under the ridge to the south join lower down

The top of this chunk is a big cairn but not the summit .Though the difference in height very small
