April 24th Thursday

Sunshine Village  in Spring. Yes today was a beautiful sunny spring day.Tuesday the light was flat and the snow very soft and wet. The message is go up to Sunshine and be suprised. Thursday was the best skiing on Bye Bye Bowl we have had for sometime. We skied it from top to bottom at least three times before trying anywhere else it was that good. Ski conditions in Banff in April, Wow this is the place to be.

With views and snow like this and most other resorts closed this has to be the best skiing in North America.

After a late lunch went down to Goats Eye Mountain hoping to find the same amazing conditions, suprise snow was frozen hard and not as easy to ski. The skiout is getting very soft in the late afternoon and some bare spots are starting to show. Skier and border beware.

Well the snow is hanging in at the bottom and you can always stop earlier and take the new bridge to come out at the Chalet at Guest Services.
