Since I was last at Sunshine they have had about another 25cm of snow so I was interested to see what conditions were like. I have been at Big White and then under the weather for a further week.  It has been 10 days without any new snow and the conditions have been incredible warm. So as I suspected it was very icy. More terrain has been opened especially on Goats Eye. The best place to ski is off the Divide Chair. The worst is on Goats Eye which took the brunt of the thaw and freeze conditions. Anything off piste looks good from the chairs but is frozen hard and can be hard to ski. So until more snow arrives groomed runs offer the best skiing. As I write this 9cm fell overnight which is a good start. More please ” O Snow God ”
