After a snow drought of months some snow to ski on. The rain in the Bow Valley fell as snow all day at Sunshine Village. The snow reports keep saying 20 cm in seven days but it must all blow away as there is no sign of it when you get to the hill.  Today was the exception. Goats Eye was the best place to ski because although it was windy the visibility was way better than on Angel and Divide, which was zero. The lifties are having a great time making snow sculptures at the bottom of most of the lifts. They must be competing for the Banff Snow Festival? More snow fell over night so maybe it will be enough to open up more runs of Goats Eye.
