Sunshine opens for the 2017-2018 Season

Greg on Wawa

November 16th 2018

The season opened on November 8th Wednesday. This is my third time out and I remember to bring my camera. It was a good day to remember the camera as there was some where between 10 to 2o cm of fresh snow. The same lifts are open Wolverine, Jack Rabbit, Wawa, Tee Pee Town and Angel. From Angel you can only come down the Green Run or cut across under the South Divide run. Then you can make your way over to Tee Pee Town or back to Angel. The Tee Pee chutes are open and holding up well for early season. Wawa Star Trek tree run is open but coming out on Bird Cage is not recommended as it is scraped down to the rocks. All in all a very good start to the season. This weekend expect Standish and the Divide to Open. See the last picture of Goats Eye Gardens not open yet but some renos going on.
