May powder turns North Pocket under Brewsters Rock

May 1st Sunshine Village. Conditions are still excellent and with 20 days to go the skiing looks  good  to the end of the season.  3 cm over night and 11 cm in the past 48 hrs  gave fresh powder turns most of the day. A lot of runs were closed for racing but opened up later in the day, with the exception of Tin Can Alley off Wawa which has been roped off for over a week for disabled athletes. Because of this I took a long walk after coming down the  far west side of Bye Bye Bowel.Carved a great line in fresh snow so made up for the walk.

At times a little icy underfoot but the new snow covered this off piste.

Nice stuff. Not a blue sky day but visibility was good.

It starts to get very soft and slushy after the first Gondola turn but what the heck it’s still open
