Lodge of the Ten Peaks
December 23rd Monday
This is the first time to Lake Louise Ski Resort this season. The snow base is lower than last year so came to check the conditions. As you will see from the pictures the conditions are not as good as you would expect for this time of year. Last season by late December the conditions at Lake Louise Ski Resort were far better. All the Rocky Mountain ski resort have suffered from a lack of snow yet further east in the prairies they have more than they want.
Conditions on Larch Poma
Larch area the snow is nice but these trees should be buried.

Unskiable terrain in Grizzly Gully
Always a good test at Lake Louise Ski Resort for snow coverage the sides of Grizzly Gully. Not looking good. The green run Saddleback from the Top of the world Chair is only open as a Black Run due to the conditions. Lets all do the snow dance and get this season into full swing I have some new skis I have yet to use.
