Lake Louise Conditions Dec 3

Christmas at the Lodge of the Ten Peaks

Dec 3 2015

Conditions at Lake Louise are normal for this time of year. The first opening dump of snow is now worn off and the front side is split by the fencing for the World Cup Downhill races. The Larch area is the best area to ski. The snow is still soft a pole plant still goes through the snow, although the mogals are increasing in height. Best runs are Larch Poma and Raven. The best cruiser is Larch. Do not try and ski the Grizzly Gully area or over by the Summit Platter, it is frozen solid and just about un-skiable.
