December 17th Tuesday

The conditions were a  bit of a windy at Sunshine Village but the temperature was very pleasant. Conditions were a little better than last Friday. The snow of yesterday helped cover up some of the rocks. Unfortunately because of the wind the three main lifts Divide,Angel And Tee Pee Town, remained closed all day. This was I was informed the third day this had happened. I have to question whether the Sunshine Village Resort is saving the runs from wearing out.

Foot pounding the snow in the enlarged creek under Wolverine

Under the lift on Wolverine the creek was enlarged in the summer due to the floods. The trail crew are working on getting this area open and the past snow has sure has filled it in.

Ski Out in good shape

The Ski Out is in much better condition most of the ripples and bumps are gone, so are the icy patches.

Healy Creek Bridge craned in today

Healy Creek Bridge craned in today

This is the new Healy Creek Bridge. I find it to be in a strange place at right angles to the skiout and finishing at the Lodge not the parking lot .Time will tell when it is all finished  if it works out ok.
